Kyadondo Technical Institute (KTI) is one of the best vocational & technical training institutions committed to empowering learners with practical skills, innovation, and ethical professionalism. Established in January 2017, KTI was founded to address the growing demand for industry-ready graduates and to expand access to quality skills training for youth in Uganda and the East African region.

Our mission is rooted in creating meaningful educational opportunities—especially for underserved and rural communities—through competency-based training, mentorship, and strong industry partnerships.

Our Origin

KTI was born from the educational impact journey of SAS Education Consult Ltd., where our founder, Mr. Sserwanja Asadu personally supported over 6,000 students in accessing secondary, tertiary, and university education across Uganda. Through this work, he identified a critical gap: many learners required institutions where mentorship, student support, and practical skills training were prioritized alongside academic excellence.

This vision led to the creation of Kyadondo Technical Institute—an institution designed to empower young people with employable skills while shaping responsible and resilient leaders for the future.

Our Growth Journey

KTI opened its doors in 2017 with a single training facility and a mission to transform lives through skills development. As the demand increased, the institute relocated to larger premises, expanded its programs, and strengthened partnerships with industry stakeholders and development partners. Support from donors also enabled the acquisition of specialized training equipment and materials, boosting our training capacity and service delivery.

Today, KTI continues to grow in infrastructure, technical capacity, and enrollment—guided by a strong vision for excellence and community transformation.
